This peppermint coffin recipe is perfect for your little monsters on Halloween. This easy recipe is quick, and produces a great, themed treat for you, your kids, or trick or treaters.
Ingredients
- 1 large bar dark chocolate
- ½ large bar white chocolate
- green food colouring
- peppermint essence
Instructions
- Line a square cake tin with baking paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate over a bain marie while stirring gently.
- Spread half the chocolate evenly over the bottom of the tin and allow to cool in the fridge for 5 minutes.
- Melt the white chocolate over a bain marie, then stir in the green food colouring and peppermint essence.
- Spread over the set dark chocolate and refrigerate until set.
- The spread the remaining chocolate and allow to set in fridge.
- Cut into coffin-shaped pieces and serve chilled.
