Grilled Tuna With Balsamic Vinegar

This is one of the most accessible healthy recipes I know. Tuna is ideal for a healthy diet or restrictive diet plans as it’s low in fat and there is no compromise on taste.

Ingredients

  • 4 thick tuna steaks
  • olive oil for brushing tuna
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 4 teaspoons of sugar
  • fresh chives to garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the tuna with salt and pepper and brush with oil, place on warm grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until cooked through.
  2. Combine the balsamic, water, lemon juice and sugar in a pan to reduce.
  3. Plate tuna pieces and spoon the sauce over each one, garnish with the fresh chives.
