Jun 28, 2010

Ingredients

  • 1kg lean minced beef
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp medium chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs

Instructions

  1. Add the mince to a bowl and add the ketchup. Mix throughly then add the chilli powder and herbs.
  2. Divide into 8 individual balls and mould until round.
  3. Put each one into it’s own cling film parcel and push down until it looks like a burger.
  4. Leave in the fridge for a couple of hours, and remove and let them get to room temperature before cooking.
  5. Remove cling film and grill, fry or barbecue.

Home-made burgers are the ultimate in barbecue food. They don’t take long to make and are light years away from shop bought ones. Start with this recipe, then modify it to suit your personal taste.

Quick Notes
